Anthony Carey joins Prier Products as Director of Manufacturing

Prier Products is excited to introduce Anthony Carey as Director of Manufacturing. Mr. Carey's background is a perfect fit for Prier and his employment track record suggests that he will fulfill our mission statement of providing A+ quality products. Carey joins Prier after a successful career as the Operations Manager for Martin Logan, where he was responsible for manufacturing, engineering support, logistics, inventory management, quality assurance and the operations budget.

Anthony is charged with the strategic planning of the manufacturing department as well as the day to day direction of our plant. His plans include instituting the 6S Production Standards program as well as creating a production floor that is a "showroom" for the sales department. His mission is to create a production environment that lives up to Prier's promise to ship A+ quality products within eight working hours. His initiatives in production scorecards, quality assurance and inventory control metrics have everyone excited about his future with Prier.

Anthony is a native of Kansas City with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University. He is active in the community and is on the Engineering Advisory Board for Shawnee Mission South high school. He and his wife Julia live in Olathe, KS along with three kids. His interests include spending time with his family and playing basketball with friends.
