4. How do I convert to Loose Key Vandalproof Design?

Prier C-434 Freezeless Hydrants can be converted after installation from handle operated to Loose Key Vandalproof Design.  This design allows for operation only with the provided operating key.  It prevents operation of the Freezeless Hydrant by vice grips or needle nose pliers.

Commonly this change occurs to prevent unauthorized usage of the Freezeless Hydrant.  To convert to the C-434 Loose Key Vandalproof Operation (C-534 Design), order the Prier Loose Key Conversion Kit, Part Number C-434KT-804.
